help me ive tried sooo hard :(

when i install the japanese version of 12sky everything is fine except when i click start on the launcher the launcher flashes black and just goes back to normal then i click start again and it does the same thing everytime how do i fix it???

1.are you using jp or AGE's launcher.
2. Does it patch?
3. What do you mean by going back to "normal".

im using JP
it has patched
and when i say normal its going back to the launcher and its not frozen or anything its working all the other buttons i click are working just when i click start it wont work

sounds like your missing the twelvesky.exe file.
Check your 12sky folder, if it is still there.
If it isnt, you need to reinstall, but make sure your antivirus doesnt scan that folder. Some AV's detect twelvesky.exe asa false positive, and delete it.

Do you still have the OLD launcher when you start the game (after patching)? Old launcher looks like this:


If you do, try what I did:

1) Open this file in your notepad: c:\RocWorks\TwelveSky\PRESENTVERSION.DAT

2) There will be a single number in that file (00144). Change it to 00000 and save. Close Notepad.

3) Start the launcher, the game will start patching again. If there is any error at all, close the launcher, open the PRESENTVERSION.DAT file with Notepad again and decrease the number there (example: if the number there is 00057, change it to 00056 or 00055).

After patching:

4) If everything went well and you still have the old launcher, do NOT try to start the game. Instead, click the rightmost button to kill the launcher.

5) Start the launcher normally, the new launcher should appear (the one similar to AG&E 12sky). You can play now.

You need to go into:

Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options -> languages(Tab)

and check both the boxes presented to you.
Click Ok or Apply and insert your windows disc.
Restart when prompted and reinstall 12sky.
After you install and patch click on the farthest lower left button on the launcher and the new launcher should appear.
At the bottom of the new launcher click on the farthest left button in the row of four buttons and you should be good to go.

Hopes this saves people the several hours it took me to figure it out.

i got a problem on my main comp. i have to play on my shit computer cos it works but on my main computer there was some sort of error so i re-installed it....

except when i install it and open launcher it doesnt do ANY updates
i press game start it launches up and wen i click on a server and login it says wrong version.

i have re-downloaded it and still did it.

Anon101...can u inform to me for details plz...i used windows vista and have same problem luncher didnt working..wat ur mean when u say check both of the box...?can u explain wat box is it..? some1 can helpme out too plz..?
